The
house is approached by a short drive off the A39 and is set in it's own grounds,
having ample parking space. There is a large lawn for everybody to sit in,
soaking up the lovely North Devon sunshine, with the occasional barbecue.
Situated approximately 3 miles from the Ancient Market
Town of Barnstaple, we are easily found just before Shirwell village, on the
Lynton road.
Children are welcome to accompany Hazel in the morning,
before breakfast, to help feed the tame lambs and baby calves, or watch the
calves having their breakfast from Clover or Daisy Bell, our nurse cows,
while our farm Collie dog, Max and Jack Russel terrier Widget watch over everybody.
Guest are welcome to walk around the farm with it's many
fine views and see all the wonderful wildlife, such as Rabbits, Foxes and
Badgers, Buzzard Hawks and many other birds and animals.
See the baby lambs skipping in the spring, the sheep shearing
in early summer and watch the hay and corn harvest in summer and early autumn.
